Your color picker is designed to encourage horrible colors combinations. I would suggest any other kind of color picker. Maybe you should provide other color spaces. In case you want to keep discrete colors, I think creating a palette could work better.
Actually its is intended to be a palette. Its 256 colors, that can be modified by the user.I am thinking of adding an 24 bit rgb mode as well.
